Along with a number of other sports, the Washington Huskies are also home to a men’s baseball team. This team is a part of the Pac12 conference and games are held at the Husky ballpark in Seattle. Although it is still winter time in Seattle, baseball games officially started this week with a game against San Diego at their ballpark.
The three-game series in San Diego is followed by one at home. The Huskies will then head to Irvine for another three-game series before playing in Northridge, California on February 21. They’ll return to Husky ballpark for four games against St. Joseph’s in early March.
The rest of the season has the Huskies traveling to San Luis Osbispo, California, Beaumont, Texas, Houston, Texas, and Cornvallis, Oregon in March. They’ll also play home games against Portland, Bakersfield State, and Oregon during the month of March.
In April, the Huskies will play Stanford and Gongaza at home before hitting the road again. After playing these rounds, they will head to Berkley, California before coming back to their own ballpark. Arizona and Seattle University are scheduled to play the Huskies at home in the latter part of this month.
The Huskies will also travel to Salt Lake City, Utah, Los Angeles, California, and Tempe, Arizona. This team’s busy schedule runs until just before Memorial Day, with only the only holiday break being on Easter Sunday. They will end at home against Washington State on May 27. Most games are held in the afternoon or early evening, and tickets are available online or at the ball field.
